    If you divide the day into 3 hour service periods you may see aggregate peak load data.
    Noon to 3 is the peak flight time for departures. I haven't filtered for dead head positioning or training loops in these numbers.

    Total flights in tally since week 12
    6 - 9 hours -- 347   
    9 -12 hours -- 348   
    12-15 hours -- 506   
    15-18 hours -- 209
    18-21 hours -- 11

    Flight hours by 3 hour departure window
    6 - 9 hours -- 291   
    9 -12 hours -- 285
    12-15 hours -- 394
    15-18 hours -- 170
    18-21 hours -- 8.2

    Total flights in the noon to 3 period maxed at 19 on 1/25/08 and have touched 18 a couple of times-- again filtering for the positioning hops and training loops would affect this number.

    Just to be certain, are these times Zulu (UTC) or EST? Seems kinda strange to me that peak period is noon-3pm.

    Week 23 Utilization drops very substantially.  Not ruling out a data loss with flightaware, but pattern is consistent.  All lower number planes are on the ground, DJS132 takes one short loop, but others are not used.

    I've included training loop hours (Boca>Boca or KGNV>KGNV). Training loops have picked up again, after being off for several weeks. Flight data may be missing this week as some planes went out to destinations and do not show returns yet.

    At least 15 hours of training loops this week (presented separately). Low S/N craft are being used exclusively for training loops out of KGNV.  The 140 series planes are flying more than the 150-160 series. - The 140's tail craft are S/N 55-61, delivered in November.
    Many departures show change in destinations- is scheduling approach changing, duplicate flight departures have been edited out of my listing.

    Only one KGNV>KGNV loop this week, DJS131 is the only low number plane to show a flight, DJS163 was also out of service. Note: Posted early on Friday 6:15 EDT, perhaps subject to revision.

    Re: Day Jet Aggregate Departure hours by class of "dayport"

    This table seeks to find growth in two classes of Dayport-- those operating since inception, and those who have >85% of their traffic since Jan 14. I seperately tally the homeports KBCT and KGNV since all traffic routes through those and training loop hours originate at those fields.

    I believe the data shows that in aggregate the hours flown from these two classes of departure points is flat in the reporting period. There is no detectable aggregate growth. The declining hours from Boca and KGNV reflect more efficient routing. The ratio of KGNV and KBCT flight hours has fallen from 60% to 32% of the total hours.
